The new Pictoright Magazine

Pictoright magazine #28 was recently published, and the affiliates who live in the Netherlands have already been able to find it on the mat.

In this issue, among other things, an interview with the outgoing chairman of Stichting Continuïteit Beeldrecht Wim Drion; we discuss some of the notable issues surrounding NFTs; an auction record for Willem Gerard Hofker’s ‘Balische Zusjes’; and we discuss in detail the Guideline Appropriation Art that Pictoright launched at the beginning of 2020. In this guideline we took a progressive position with regard to appropriation art. Two years along the line: Does the directive have the intended effect in practice?
